Describing the Protagonist Edgar in E.L. Doctorow's Book "World's Good"

Alex Roth Per 3 The main protagonist, or main personality in a tale, changes his/her characters and beliefs through the entire many distinct trials that they persevere though. In the e book, World's Good by E.L. Doctorow, the protagonist of the history is a young, commonly Jewish boy by the brand of Edgar.

The book takes place in 1930's post-depression NY and Edgar's friends and family is in somewhat tumultuous moments. Edgar is quite young at the start of the reserve, his brother is a teen and his father and mother are both middle aged. Just how Edgar explains his early on years display how his character deals with factors and how he will so is quite apparent throughout the entire book. For instance, he portrays his father and mother as elements, warring with the other person on a very much grandeur scale than two mere mortals might even conceive to argue upon. He treats everything deeper than what they are actually, much like any child his tender age would do. He's a caring person who is very alert to everything as a kid, and was disciplined extremely harshly by his mom. Rose, Edgar's mom, "believed soreness was a curative. If it didn't harm, it wasn't affective." She was an average Jewish mom of this era and reminds me much of my very own mom and my Grandmother. He believed many things as a kid, he also thought that the elements of your day depended
